Psychotherapy with Nancy Carter, Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto

My approach is kind, caring, humorous and honest. I strive for both genuineness in the therapeutic relationship, and for a position of cultural humility that embodies respect for you and your identity(s). I work with adults of all ages and stages in life. We will work together to help you reach your goals and recover from emotional pain.

I will begin by learning about you and gaining an empathetic understanding of what is bringing you into therapy at this time in your life. I work with a warm, supportive and non-judgmental approach to help you understand and heal difficult experiences, feelings and patterns in your life.

I believe that increasing self-knowledge and exploring the depth and breadth of our emotional lives is a journey that can benefit everyone. The more of ourselves that we can know, heal and embrace, the happier we are in our lives.

I provide psychotherapy for individuals who are struggling withdew-on-curly-leaves-4
